Our Customer Delivery Operatives work independently but are thoroughly supported by their team leaders, account managers, and of course their colleagues.
We think it is important to be upfront about what to expect if you haven’t worked in this kind of role before. This role isn’t only about making calls and tapping screens. We deliver to construction sites and so you will repeatedly lift and move heavy items, safely, and carefully over a range of surfaces throughout your working day.
There will be London deliveries too so you will be dealing with London traffic, and a delivery schedule that is in line with the demanding time constraints that our customers expect from us.

Yes, the job can be challenging, but we have a fantastic support team, and excellent processes in place to ensure your day is as efficient and productive as possible.
PRE-LOADED VANS: Vans are pre-loaded for deliveries by our dedicated warehouse operatives
NO PAPERWORK: Everything is pre-planned and all you need is on the phone – including W3W which we actively ask customers to use.
TEAMWORK: There is a genuine team environment and a real rapport amongst your driver colleagues and the wider THX teams
RELIABLE FLEET: You will be driving a van from our young, very well-maintained fleet
Anything I need to know before I apply?
We think the THX Customer Delivery Operative role at THX is one of the best driving roles – with plenty of great benefits for a good work / life balance. But just a few of things to give you heads up on.
EARLY STARTS: It is an early start but if you are a bit of an early bird then it will suit you down to the ground. And a Greggs Breakfast always helps!
IT’S PHYSICAL: Loading and offloading tools and equipment on-sites is physical work. But you’re out in the fresh air, and not tied to a desk.
WE CAN’T CONTROL TRAFFIC: Traffic can mean sometimes you may get back later than scheduled. However, you will get overtime.
